In celebration of Skeletor's one week anniversary, we took him and his girlfriend, Sophie to the park!
On the way, we stopped and picked up a harness for Skelly so he wouldn't hurt his throat learning to walk on a leash.
Skeletor was in a hurry to go explore!
Wow, he is already looking so much better!! You can really see all the new weight he has put on. Well done Wes and Mel!!!
ReplyDeleteHe is looking great! What a fun time for him to enjoy the outdoors and explore.

Oh my goodnesses! You are going to have to rename him cuz soon he's not going to look so skeletony. Isn't it amazing what love and good eats can do for a body? My mom and me say thank you for being Skeletor's guardian angels. He is a very lucky boy!
ReplyDeleteWiggles & Wags,

hey Skelly,
ReplyDeleteKhyra gave you a woof-out on her blog so I pawed my way over. You look so handsome walking on your leash, and Sophie sure is a cutie, too! Tail wags to your human Angels for rescuing you and feeding you and loving you! We need more humans on Earth like them!
Suka

MAXDOG IN SOUTH AFRICA
I'm a first time visitor and am thrilled to see what you are doing for this poor dog. Bless you!
ReplyDeleteHe does look adorable. So do you guys :)
ReplyDeleteI see that Skelly gets along with dogs .How about the cats? Did he do any quacking while on a leash? (like Star)
Love Mom
Wow, he is looking so much better. Looks like you had a great walk too :)
ReplyDeletePugs & Kisses,
Yoda & Brutus
His harness prevented most of the quacking. If he was only on a collar he definitely would have been having trouble breathing.
ReplyDeleteHe's a little scared of cats, but has not shown any aggression to cats, dogs or even little kids.
A few little kids walked up at the park and wanted to pet the dogs. Sophie barked at them, but skeletor was just fine.
One of the poor kids stepped in a giant pile of Skeletor's breakfast. (he was a little too excited and ralphed up his food)
Thanks for all of the comments! Stay tuned for the week 2 video and lots more of skeletor's adventures in rehabilitation!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Skelly has packed on at least a couple of pounds. Yay! I put a Skelly button on my tumblog. :)
