Friend of Skelly, Jimmy is on the road to recovery

Lucky for him, Jimmy was found by the right people in Baltimore. Some extremely evil person had mangled his face to the point that his nose had to be surgically replaced by a blowhole created by various grafts.

Here's a news article on Jimmy...

His foster parents have started a blog to document his journey. Jimmy's photos are hard to look at. Especially the early ones. I can't believe somebody would do something like that to any animal!

His story, however, is a positive one so far. Jimmy appears very grateful for his second chance at life. He really is a nice dog and I wish him all the best on his recovery.

Here's a link to Jimmy's blog:

Huge thanks to Jimmy's foster family for helping him out!

  1. Oh my. Thank you for letting me know about Jimmy! He has some very special peoples in his life.

    And so does Skelly!!

  2. OMG! My jaw just dropped just reading this post. I don't understand how people can be so cruel!

I'm so thankful he has people who love him and will do everything they can to ensure he lives a good life now. I'll keep him in my prayers along with Skelly.

  3. :-(

Poor Jimmy. Unbelievable. I'm just glad he is safe and cared for and loved. It's really upsetting.

    Take care

  4. What a terrible thing - that is just awful what happened to him. We are so glad he is now safe and being taken care of and loved!

  5. Wes, thank you for letting us know about Jimmy. I'm from Baltimore and missed this when it happened. Hopefully we can rally some support for Jimmy and his foster mom.

  6. Wes, Thank you so much for informing people of Jimmy! I do Jimmy's blog, and will add Skelly to it! I think of Skelly often, and pray he finishes his fight soon!!! Such a lover boy he is. I love watching the Skelly vids! You are an angel!

  7. Thanks Michelle! Good luck taking care of that guy. He's so lucky to have met you!

  8. Hi Skelly!
